Psalm 42:11 Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Pour your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him, my Savior and my God.
Isaiah 40:31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Romans 8:24-25 For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25 But if we hope for what we do not have, we wait for it patiently.
( I have posted this song once before, but it is so good and sometimes we all need a little reminder every now and then!) >:o)
I pray you walk in God's blessings today!

I am sure most of us either know someone who has been through or are going through the fight to battle this terrible disease, it is one of many that can take us or a loved one down at any time, unannounced. I battled cancer myself in 2001 and know the anxiety and the fear and the depression that can come from such a reality, questions swimming round in your head, did I catch it early enough, will I see my children grow up, will I see my son graduate, will I see my grandbabies, will there be another Christmas, the questions can consume you and be even worse than the disease if that is possible. Last week my favorite show, "So You Think You Can Dance" did the most beautiful portrayal of a couples fight against breast cancer, the following is their performance which I just felt I had to share with any of you who may not watch that show or somehow missed it, but even if you have seen it before it is definitely worth another look. I hope you enjoy this powerful expression of dance. Thank you Ade and Melissa for such a beautiful reminder that life is a gift to be appreciated EVERY day and for bringing awareness to this disease we often take so casually.

If you are in need of a touch from God today I urge you to take a minute out of your busy day to just sing praise and worship our Lord God, the King of Kings, the Beginning and the End. In praise and worship we usher in His presence, we draw Him close. I needed to feel His touch today and He never fails to be there when I call out to Him in this way, if you do not have any worship music enjoy this video by Chris Tomlin and when it is finished click onto the next and the next and the next, you will be amazed how God will show up. Thank you Lord for your comfort and peace at this time, I love you!

It's funny how life happens, the highs, the lows, the ups, the downs. you can be going along down life's highway whistling a tune, life is good right or at least for me better, than BAM out of nowhere right between the eyes! The stars are circling around my head right now another setback, round and round they go where they stop nobody knows ......but God. I know you are not used to me sounding this way, you can usually find me being positive and encouraging, but today I just want to cry and I need to just let it out at the top of my lungs AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! It doesn't change things one tiny bit, but it felt better for a split second.....sometimes we just need to do that, let it all out, we don't need to say a thing because God knows what it is that is troubling us, but sometimes a good shout to the heavens makes us feel like He hears us a little better, silly mortals! Today I pray to God that His Will is my will, that I have been hearing His voice and not that of my own, that He will reach out His mighty hand and in one swoop right the wrongs, but I know these wrongs are choices we make in OUR time of weakness and the outcomes are OUR consequences that we were not blinded to from the start. God help me see things as you see them, help me to understand your ways are not my ways, help me to be joyful in this moment of despair, help me to accept the things I cannot change, forgive me for thinking I had my life in control, I LOVE YOU LORD, you have rescued me before, I have every confidence you'll rescue me again. Today I reaffirm my trust in you. God help the sinner, God please help me... Amen.
PSALM 86:11-13
11 Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.
12 I will praise you, O Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
13 For great is your love toward me; you have delivered me from the depths of the grave
.
MATHEW 19:25-26
25 "Who then can be saved?"
26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
MARK 9:23
23 Jesus said, "Everything is possible for him who believes."
Thank you Lord for the reminder.

This nest fell from one of our tall cedar trees in the backyard during a windy change of weather, at its widest point it measures about 1 foot wide and one foot thick. The interior clay "bowl", cause that is exactly what it looks like, measures approximately 6 inches in circumferance and 5 inches deep with a 1 inch thick "mattress" of moss, pine needles and dry grasses intertwined. Birds are the most fascinating and amazing architects, they weave their magic high in the tree branches effortlessly as we struggle with our hammers and nails below! Now I wonder if all that chirping might really be laughter! God is made perfect, you can see his handiwork everywhere! These pictures do not do it's beauty justice!
